What if I can't link my card or accounts with Plaid?

Edited

If you're having trouble linking your card through Plaid or if your account isn't being mapped correctly, there are a few possible reasons and steps you can take:

  • Unsupported Cards: Some cards, like the Apple Card, cannot be linked with Plaid. If Plaid doesn't support your card, you can manually add the card in your dashboard. Click on “Add Card” on the upper right hand corner. We’ll designate a $3,000 limit on the card.

  • Technical Issues: Sometimes, technical issues can prevent successful linking. Ensure that you have a stable internet connection and that your card provider is not experiencing outages.

  • Verification Problems: Make sure you have entered the correct login credentials for your card or bank account. Double-check for any typos or errors.

  • Security Measures: Your card provider may have additional security measures in place, such as multi-factor authentication, that need to be completed before Plaid can access your account.

If you continue to experience issues, please contact our customer support team for further assistance. They can help troubleshoot the problem and provide additional guidance. Note that while we strive to ensure accurate reflection of your available credit limit, some discrepancies may occur if we are unable to pull data from your card provider.
