Understanding Kasheesh's Transaction Spending Limits

Edited

At Kasheesh, we have implemented various transaction spending limits to ensure the safety of our customers and prevent overspending or suspicious activities. Our transaction spending limits are as follows:

General Limits

  • Utility Transactions: $1,000.00 limit per transaction. This includes payments for services like cable, internet, water, and other utilities.

  • Retail Transactions: $15,000.00 daily limit. This covers transactions with retail merchants, but not financial institutions or utility companies.

  • Wholesale Clubs: $3,000 daily limit per transaction and $9,000 weekly on a rolling 7 days

  • Grocery Stores: $500 daily limit per transaction.

  • Tax Payments: As of 6/25/2025, we are no longer supporting Federal Tax payments. We may reopen these transactions in the future.

Spending limits are reset on a rolling 24 hours basis

Manually Added Card Limits

Customers can link up to 5 of their own credit/debit cards to their Kasheesh account. Each linked card is subject to a $3,000 daily spending limit when used through Kasheesh. This structure is set by our issuing bank and helps to ensure the safety of our customers by preventing excessive spending in a single day.

Linked Accounts

When you link your cards directly within Kasheesh, your spending structure changes:

  • No More Flat Daily Cap per Card: The standard $3,000 daily limit on individually linked cards no longer applies.

  • Aligned With Your Card Issuer: Each linked card’s spending ability is based on the actual credit limit provided by your card issuer.

  • Overall Safety Limit: For your protection and to prevent misuse, a maximum $15,000 daily spend applies across all linked cards combined.

Why This Matters

Linking your cards directly to Kasheesh ensures more accurate verification of your available credit. This helps reduce unnecessary declines, while the $15,000 overall cap remains as a safeguard to protect both you and Kasheesh.

What is the Maximum Purchase Amount?

The maximum transaction limit varies by the type of transaction, and you're own personal spending limit. You can find more information on creating cards and making purchases in our Help Hub.

Disclaimer: Kasheesh may decline transactions for reasons not listed here in order to comply with our security, compliance, and risk management obligations. Restrictions and allowed merchant categories are subject to change without notice. See our Terms of Service for the most current policy.
