My transaction was declined; what do I do now?

Some common hiccups are:

  • Our issuing bank blocks the merchant or transaction. Check out a list of restricted merchants and transactions here.

  • Insufficient funds on one of your underlying cards.

  • The totals don't match. Double-check the purchase total and the total on the single-use card match. (single-use only)

  • The card was already used to complete another purchase. (single-use only)

  • We are a pinless debit card. If you select 'Debit' for Tap-to-Pay, it will prompt you for a PIN. To avoid this, please select 'Credit' when using Tap-to-Pay.
